Kaushik has more than 25 years’ experience in Technology, Business Transformation and Business value selling, in leadership roles in Asia-Pacific and the USA.
His diversified industry leadership experience in information technology covers consumer products, retail, consumer electronics, automotive, FSI and telecommunications across Asia and North America. This has included career stints in leadership positions with SAP, Oracle, IBM and PwC Consulting.
Kaushik has strong teaching interests and currently holds Adjunct Faculty positions with Singapore Management University (SMU), Nanyang Business School, Singapore and Indian Institute of Management, Udaipur.
Kaushik holds a PhD in Operations Management from Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and a Bachelor Degree in Engineering from NIT Trichy, both considered to be top rated educational institutions in India.
He is a member of Singapore Institute of Directors, an ASQ Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt practitioner, a certified Adult Learning Educator, a Design Thinking Facilitator and a Certified Sales Program Facilitator with MHI Global.
Sam brings more than 20 years of unique leadership experience. He has exposure in equal measure in the Singapore SME Sector and the regional MNCs. With more than 15 years as a key member of the C-Suite, initially as the COO and thereafter as the CEO Sam saved, built and expanded a successful business across APAC. In addition to being responsible for the P&L of the APAC operations, Sam:
Regularly reviewed and implemented Competitive Strategy,
Extended the existing markets and developed new territories in the region,
Worked with Central R&D in designing specifications for new products and tweaked the specifications for existing product range to fit the diverse market needs,
Closely oversaw production planning and logistics with the manufacturing plants/ assemblers across the region ensuring timely production and delivery,
Built and implemented tailor-made sales and customer service programmes for the MNCs and Local Government customers,
Designed and successfully effected corporate and product branding exercises,
Created and imparting focused training programmes for the marketing, sales and logistics teams,
Implemented extensive cost correction strategies constantly to control investment infrastructure.
He successfully steered his organisation through the global financial meltdown of 2008. His first-hand experience in the B2B, B2G and B2C business segments across the APAC region has provided him with an insight that is rare and invaluable.
His involvement in virtually every aspect of building and successfully running a business in a dynamic business environment has resulted in continual recognition and accolades. In 2008, under Sam‘s stewardship, the company (Chloride Batteries) won the Frost & Sullivan Award: Competitive Strategy Leadership Award for the industry sector. Sam was also the recipient of the prestigious Asia Pacific Enterprise Award: Outstanding Entrepreneur in 2012 in recognition of his successful steering of his organisation to regional leadership.
